Emily Masuch, LCSW is a licensed psychotherapist who specializes in working with adults, families, and those transitioning to and managing parenthood. Emily has experience working in multiple health care settings including outpatient mental health/substance abuse and inpatient hospital settings. She has worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, substance abuse, postpartum anxiety, depression, life transitions, family support and parenting issues. Additionally, Emily holds a certification in peri and postpartum mental health. These experiences have led to Emily’s unique style of person centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) focused therapy that encourages collaboration and partnership throughout the therapeutic process. Emily approaches each client with an open mind, providing a safe and inviting space to create meaningful change. She is passionate about honing client strengths and providing insight and guidance to help clients gain new understanding of the world around them. She is a compassionate clinician who addresses clients’ needs through strength-based therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness and motivational interviewing. Her warm style engages and empowers clients to navigate through sessions without judgement. Emily received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Hartwick College and her MSW from Stony Brook University School of Social Work. Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State.
